Additionally, I offer specialized photogrammetry consulting to support various projects.
WingMan will utilize the AOI or Corridor centerline KML/SHP file provided by the client to design the expert flight planning necessary for image acquisition. We employ iX Suite (Plan, Flight, Process), Global Mapper, and Google Earth software to create detailed flight plans. Additionally, we coordinate with aircraft partners to obtain quotes for image acquisition as part of our photogrammetry consulting services, ensuring that clients receive accurate project acquisition and service cost estimates while delivering comprehensive remote sensing solutions.
The expert flight planning created with iX Plan will be uploaded to the on-board mission software, iX Flight Pro. This process utilizes the MK5 controller in conjunction with the GSM4000 SOMAG mount on the aircraft, ensuring precise Raw (Level-0) imagery acquisition, which supports our photogrammetry consulting and remote sensing solutions.
The mission is then loaded into IX Process, which facilitates the preprocessing of IIQ files into stitched, uncompressed tiled TIF formats for Ortho-ready (Level-1) imagery. These images can then be ingested into sophisticated photogrammetry software like Trimble's Inpho or SimActive's Correlator 3D, for the generation of the final Orthorectified (Level-2) mosaic image tiles. In the realm of expert flight planning and photogrammetry consulting, leveraging refined RTX exterior orientation (EO) processing via Applanix POSPAC software, along with our highest accuracy Applanix IMU, allows us to significantly minimize the need for ground control while providing comprehensive remote sensing solutions.
The Flight Architect, an expert in flight planning, is responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of final edits, data compression, and the tiling of project information. This is achieved through advanced software such as Global Mapper and Google Earth, alongside providing photogrammetry consulting and remote sensing solutions.
